The Deep Rooted Designs team was knighted by a couple in Lakeside to take their outdoor living space from lackluster to eye-catching. We were excited to break ground in Lakeside because most of our projects lately have hovered around central and coastal San Diego.
We’re really excited to showcase one of our latest projects from Montclair St in North Park, San Diego. Patrick, our amazing client, is a big outdoor entertainer and had made extensive improvements to his backyard. He called Deep Rooted Designs to help him construct a front yard that was just as remarkable.
We don’t know about you, but 2017 has been great to us. The Deep Rooted Designs team is keeping busy and we have several projects moving forward that are going to redefine Summertime fun for quite a few homeowners.

We’ve been so excited to show you the finished result of this spectacular backyard remodel of a historic home in South Park. This home is steps from South Park’s dog park and also borders Balboa Park…but you’ll soon see that this backyard remodel feels like a secluded oasis.
Privacy is a big factor when it comes to our backyard or garden. With smaller lot sizes in San Diego, we tend to feel a bit closer than we would like! As much as we love our neighbors, or wish we loved our neighbors, we would appreciate to spend time in our backyard with privacy making it feel like a secluded area rather than a shared space. Privacy plants are a fantastic way to do this. Although they do not provide as much seclusion as a ten foot wall — they add greenery to your backyard and keep prying eyes away!
Although summer has officially come to an end, the weather has been finicky. With triple digit temperatures and humidity one week, and 70 degrees & overcast the next — our yards are taking a beating this September.
